This is the new name for the highly-accliamed Nintendo Revolution. It's meant to symbolise togetherness (as it's pronouced 'we) as well as 'ii' meaning 'good' in Japanese.
However, it's Nintendo seeing how far it can push us before we just jump-ship and drown.

"Hey. Wanna come over and play with my Wii?"

The new name for the Nintendo Revolution.
Wii. As in 'we', is ment to show togetherness or something, or as someone said "Not you or I, but Wii"
It may also be worth noting that "ii" means "good" in Japanese.

Nintendo's new name for the much-hyped Revolution console. Is pronounced "we".
According to Nintendo, Wii symbolizes togetherness, with its two i's resembling like people next to eachother. They claim it is a name that will cross language barriers, and avoid abbreviation. They say it will be remembered by consumers, and hope it will become the next iPod or Google.
Many gamers, however, are less than enthusiastic about the name change, once again saying "Nintendo is Doomed!" and making potty jokes. (Get it? Wee? Ahahaha).
Some say it's a hoax, some like the idea, some hate it. Will it succeed? Only time will tell.

Person Two - Haha, you said 'wee'.
Person One - Shut up.
