: a term used to decribe someone (ussually in the dj community) who posseses an obssesion with records, or posses a large number of records.
these people are often times dead-set against the use of cds or mp3s in a set.

Vinyl

Vinyl usually refers to Analog Long Playing Records (LPs). While vinyl is not as mainstream today as it was back in the day, the format is still in use. Vinyl records are considered to be more "warmer" and pleasant sounding than CDs.

Many audiophiles (and non-audiophiles) argue that Vinyl is superior to CD, and those people are correct in my opinion.

Vicky Mendoza Diagonal

The Vicky Mendoza diagonal is a specific kind of line on the "Hot/Crazy Scale". The Diagonal runs straight from the bottom left corner to the top right, signifying that the woman in question is crazy, but her hotness balances this out.
The Hotter she is the more crazy she is allowed to be.
Also see "Shelly Galesby zone" in which a girl is crazier than she is hot.

Guy1: that girls pretty frickin' crazy.

Vinny/Pauly D

The best romance to ever hit day time television. Consisting of Vinny Guadagnino and Pauly DelVecchio These two "bros" who are featured on Jersey Shore essentially just spend their time pretending not to be gay when they really are. Some of their nicknames for each other include "boyfriend" and Vinny has said that "they should just turn gay".

Deena: Can I watch you two hook up?

Vinny and Pauly: No, you don't get to watch us be gay.
