Tickelsack

Slang reference to the Canadian rock group Nickelback; in general, this term refers to any musical act that demonstrates a direct correlation between bland generic musical ability and unexplainable commercial success. This phenomenon is largely attributed to hordes of pubescent fans who wouldn't know good music from a noisy bout of morning-after Taco Bell hangover flatulence

An apt description to denote that there are other paths to musical success and notiriety that have nothing to do with talent and everything to do with what has destroyed the recording industry over the past 30 years.
"Aren't we going to rehearse for your show tonight?"
"No - we're just going to wear our black t-shirts and Tickelsack it."
