Often the fan is too stupid to graduate college but can regurgitate great volumes of team fact, history and legend.

Steve is a retail alumni for Alabama only because his inbred uncle-daddy and cousins are also a retail alumni.
None of them have even set foot on campus, let alone attended, and probably couldn't even show you where it was on a map.

Retail Hack

The transformation of retail from a traditional brick and mortar transaction to one that is experiential. A 'retail hack' describes the way businesses are adapting and changing the way consumers interact with their brand and products. It may include more high touch experiences or blending the arts, entertainment, or culture into a trip to a physical store.

New York Sunshine is a company that is known for the retail hack. Through their work, they take the traditional retail model and "flip it upside down." As John “Sunshine” Margaritis of New York Sunshine said in Vogue, "I think a retail experience needs to be something you can’t experience online—you have to go to the store to interact with it.”

Retail Constipation

When you’ve worked in a retail job for so long, you’ve learned to hold back any bodily excretions that hit you mid-shift, even if you are slowly dying behind the register needing a bathroom break. Usually developed in a medium to fast paced job that demands full attention to the task at hand or in a single staffed establishment where the employee cannot leave with customers in the store alone.

After working in a shoe retail store for 5 years, I’ve developed retail constipation. Now I hardly take bathroom breaks anymore.
