proem

proem, otherwise known as Richard Bailey, is an American electronic/IDM musician, active since 1999. He is known as one of the the major contemporary intelligent dance musicians on the scene today.

He made his debut with his full-length "Burn Plate No.1" on Hydrant Records, and followed in 2001 with "Negativ" on M3rck Records. He continued with his 2002 release "Among Others" on n5MD, the label of port-royal, and released "Socially Inept" in 2004, the album many consider to be "genre-defining" of IDM. He released a two-disc album "You Shall Have Ever Been" in 2006, and "A Permanent Solution" in 2007. In 2009, he dropped a dark ambient album, "Till There's No Breath", deviating from IDM for a time.

Proem is known mostly for his crunchy and glitchy beats and complex melodies that are often considered melancholy. He has also worked with and done remixed for the likes of Brothomstates, Machinedrum, and others. He is also an artist and designer.

proem is one of the best IDM musicians out there in my opinion.

A type of poem similar to the love poem, but instead of being about affection and desire, this poem is more specific to wanting to bed the target audience. It is strictly about sex, and about convincing someone else to go to bed.

"The Flea" by John Donne is an example of a fuck poem.

Lexi poem

A lexi poem, originated from a ballad, or a sonnet given to one that you love. The word, or "words" rather, started out from the words "Alexander poem", but was changed to "Lexi" to suit both male and female genders.

Synonyms:

Girl: "His eyes so electric blue, his skin so fragile...and his lips so pink with my admiration..."
Other girl: Wow that's emo crap.
Another girl: No. That's just a Lexi poem she wrote for her crush.

A group of words phrazed together to create a peice of writing. Generally, it is short, but a poem can be anything that shows something--a feeling...a sound...a color...a thought... Most of them rhyme, but some don't. People sometimes have poetry slams, in which people read these poems aloud. People argue over what can be defined as a poem. Can "Hello, my name is nono, what's yours?" be considered as a poem? Nobody knows. I think it can.

LOVE POEM:

Love
The saddest thing I see—
People who walk, not knowing where they are
Wanderers, dropped on this earth by mistake
Empty eyes, like pebbles, dropped in a lake.
They see only images
A dim outline in the fog of appearance.
Like words that you’ve said so many times they have no meaning
These people are just clones
With shadows of who they could have been.
Of whom they are not.

Is there a cure for those who do not care?
Is there a way to save all of the lonely people of this world who don’t know who they are?
Is there a way to help the people who don’t know they need it?
Yes.
The cure?
The cure is love.

Poem

Poems were originally named after the famous poet, Edgar Allan Poe. Until his rise in popularity, poems were known by different names, like "lyric" or "verse". That's why Shakespeare never referred to his writings as poems, but rather "sonnets"
