Lakin Hospital

The Lakin Hospital is located on Route 62, just a few minutes out of town from Point Pleasant, WV. It was built circa 1924, and was used as an insane asylum, a school, and a home for colored boys. It was closed down in 1956, but I believe it was used as office space until about 1970. It is now a delapidated ruin, sitting in the middle of an open field. It is said that many horrible things went on inside of these walls, ie. lobotomies and such. It is said that the black boys housed here were abused in every way imaginable. This place is one of the most well-known haunted places in the area, and many of the locals and even out of towners visit it on a regular basis. It is a spooky building in the daytime, but at night it is down right scary. Voices and cold spots are common place in stories from those who dare to venture inside. The Mothman, another local legend, is said to have been sighted nearby in the TNT area of Point Pleasant, but that's another story. All in all, this is one spooky part of West Virginia.

Laki

One of the most beautiful woman and very easy going, she is very caring of the ones she loves and are very joyful. They will laugh at anything and will say anything that comes to mind. However they can get angry and do stupid things but only for her loved ones. They can be freaky but tends to hide it from many people, she judges a lot but only to the people that put themselves out there. Overall a great supportive person and will love you forever.
