Park Jimin of BTS. A boy from Busan who dreamt of being an idol. A trainee who debuted only after a year of training under bighit. He had a hard time getting used to idol life and all the harsh diets, but he persevered and now shines along with his members. He's the one they all go to to release their stress and is the one who you can talk to in times of your worry. He started the tradition of gift giving for birthdays in Bangtan. He cried when his Hyungs cried after winning even if he didn't even know what album they won for, he just cried because his members did. He's a kind, sweet, polite and gentle man full of warmth. He's grown so much since debut, his vocals and dance has improved like anything. Park Jimin is an angel fairy.

A terrible insult, be very offended. Originally said by Rap Monster of BTS to Jimin, also of BTS during a plane ride after Jimin said “LA man yea!”. RM then said “Jimin. You got no jams.
This can also mean that Jimin cannot reach the jam jar on the top shelf of the fridge.

Rm: Jimin.
Jimin: yea?
Rm: Can you hand me that? *points at jam jar*
Jimin: Uhm I can’t reach it.

Jimin-Effect

The Jimin-Effect ("Jimin" from the kpop group BTS' member Park Jimin) applies to usually smaller-than-average men with a muscular body, an androgynous face and masculine as well as feminine characteristics, fashion sense and demeanor. The main characteristic that defines a Jimin-Effect man is a natural skill to make people fall for him, especially other men who think of themselves as straight and often resort to make an "exception" for the Jimin-Effect man. Other characteristics that can but don't have to be impersonated by a Jimin-Effect man are slight pettiness and good networking skills (via gossiping at events). The Jimin-Effect is named after BTS' Park Jimin, who is famous for coming to terms with his androgyny during his kpop-career and for snatching men left and right.

Man 1: Look at that dude, man!

Man 2: That one? Oh wow... I have a girlfriend, but he's really pretty...
Man 1: Right? He has such a Jimin-Effect...
