GotchaJustice

Expression refers to investigators or adjudicators who claim to be scrupulously impartial but are ready, when necessary, to do the dirty work of squashing the rights of any individual who points the finger of blame in the "wrong" direction and questions the conduct of more powerful individuals within the established order.

Honest Tom knew what had happened was plain wrong even though it had been okayed at the very top. Yet, the official investigators didn't want to know. Then came the threat to zip it or else. Seems like Tom had his taste of GotchaJustice.
