Karaoke Lifestyle

The act of living one's entire life using the same philosophy of singing a song with a karaoke machine. Whereas a karaoke singer does not actually create the music or content of the art that they are borrowing, they can for a brief period pretend that they are the artist that they admire and take credit for the song. This allows them to take a bow without actually accomplishing anything other then mimicry. Someone following the Karaoke Lifestyle will then have very low standards yet a high sense of self-importance. They act much like the other farm animals in the fable "The Little Red Hen", but still manage to eat a piece of the bread without actually having done any work for it but simply due to a delusional sense of themselves being geniuses. Musicians are the most frequent members of this group but it can include most any sort of person.

That girl is so obnoxious, she acts like she's the most important person on the team but always has someone else do her work for her. Just another Karaoke Lifestyle idiot squeaking by on other people's work.

Senioritis Lifestyle

After getting accepted into college, high school seniors may experience this. It is when students stop caring about high school and become extremely lazy, more so than someone with Senioritis . These students often skip school or come in late, or not even bother with work. Often they become addicted to video games like Modern Warfare 2. There is no cure except the end of school.

Student 1: Where's Matt? He hasn't been here in like a week?
Student 2. He got into college. He's played MW2 for the entire week. He's living the Senioritis Lifestyle.

A person who does anything to achieve their lifestyle goals. A person who will leave their partner if they don't provide a high enough lifestyle like their rich friends, who will abandon their loved pet because it gets in the way of their "good life" and who puts their fancy lifestyle interests ahead of their children too.

She left her two young children home alone tonight so she could be with her boyfriend and attend the white party... she's a lifestyle whore!

possibly named so because of Moby's MTV cribs episode which showed how humbly he lived
