denglish

Denglish is actually the term used by linguists, mainly based in Germany, to describe incorrect English as spoken by Germans whose sole contact with English is at school. It results in something that might in some case sound English but in fact is not or is used in a differnet sense than in normal English usage. Modern German features an over-use of loan words, particularly from English. Germans mistakenly think the expressions/words are correct as they use them.

Last, not least - an expression used by Germans in the sense of "last, but not least"
Walking - a sport now parcticed frequently in Germany - should of course be "power walking"

Controlled demolition

1. The intentional destruction of a building by placing explosives in strategic areas. Often used by construction companies to remove unneeded buildings, like run-down houses.
2. Arguably the most well-known conspiracy theory about the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Postulates that elements in the US government used the crashes of airplanes into the World Trade Center as cover for the detonation of explosives in the buildings to bring them down.
3. Controlled Demolition, Inc., a construction company hired by the city of New York to clean up the wreckage of the World Trade Center. Often implicated in or blamed for their destruction by conspiracy theorists.

1. The old city museum was brought down by controlled demolition on Wednesday so construction can start on the new one.
2. The incredulousness of the World Trade Center controlled demolition theory is often used to paint an unfair picture of the 9/11 Truth Movement as a whole.
3. Controlled Demolition, Inc. was the only company allowed to clean the WTC wreckage, which has raised some eyebrows.

Denomination

A form of domination in which you, by yourself or with a team, dominate someone(s) or something else so badly in any sporting event, video game, office contest, schoolwork, or relative bragging rights situation that you establish yourself or your team on a much greater level than your opponent(s). Not only have you dominated the opposition, you have relegated them and made it very clear that you, by yourself or with your comrades, are vastly greater than them at the said event. Essentially, you are way out of their league, and you have rightly put them in their place, possibly and preferably by humiliating them as well.

To establish a vast difference in class between two opposing sides, through overwhelming skill that glorifies the winners and humiliates the losers.

Variations of "denomination" include "denominate", "denominated", and "denominating". It is also encouraged to celebrate any act of "denomination" by taunting your opposition with denomination's appropriate abbreviated term, "deez-nuts".

In the locker room before a baseball game.

"Are you guys ready for some denomination?"

At school.--
"Wanna go grab some lunch?"
"Maybe in a little bit. I've got to denominate this Calculus Exam first".

Hanging with your buddies
