Communicating with critters, particularly pets, as if they are small children.
This voice is usually higher pitched and contains a great deal of gibberish.

Critter

A professional lurker with a higher purpose... often with strange hobbies or appearance that are laughed at scoffed at by most. A strange or weird person, often seen by mainstream citizens as deranged, a loser, or possibly off. Usually lives in a van, 1960s era RV, or other unique van life style home with many personal touches. Instead of “keep Tahoe blue” stickers a critter is more likely to have a spray painted pack of wolves howling at ufos painted on the side of their vehicle. Critters have a higher purpose to which only they know and most can not comprehend.

I surfed at Ocean Beach this weekend. The only people in the parking lot was a young family and this old critter cooking his dinner in a firepit he made out of old car parts.
