A clothing retailer associated most oftentimes with it's primary competitors; American Eagle Outfitters, Hollister Co., and Abercrombie & Fitch, with regards to teenage apparel. Aeropostale is identified as being the cheapest, price wise, and the youngest of the aforementioned brands, thus being subjected to adopting marketing and advertising techniques from other clothing retailers. Aeropostale is generally either well-received or negatively critiqued amongst teenagers. Many favor their affordable price range and by wearing Aeropostale, feel as though they belong among their social peers. In my opinion, Aeropostale is cheap, immature, juvenile knock-off of other recognized brands. Their clothing provides absolutely no quality whatsoever, their pricing exceeds the value of the clothing, and I personally do not enjoy wearing a gigantic "AERO" all over my torso. It is too pre-pubescent and overall, lack-luster.
I have an Aeropostale located in my local mall. It perturbs me when people wear Aeropostale and think that they are the preppiest kids in our vicinity. What also perturbs me is their advertising techniques. Aeropostale was originally established to attract fourteen through seventeen year-olds, but I always see fully developed adults purchasing products from that store. In general, I dislike Aeropostale throughout all aspects.

aeropostale is a gay store that only has clothes that have ducks and frogs on them and monkeys that have stupid sayings on them. some thing are alright but not realy. i hate that store. its a cheap wannabe version of ae and a&f. they are so muuch better! don't go to aeropostale!

A store where usually kids the age of 10-13 shop because they want to be more preppy and need the logo. Usually if you shop there, you're immature and mom doesn't want you shopping at AE, A&F, or Hollister. The middle class kids shop there because they can't afford a $30 shirt from somewhere, so they need to cope with a $15 shirt.
Kid: Mom, can we go to Abercrombie?
Mom: No, it's too expensive. You know we can't afford it. Go to aeropostale.
Kid: Okay! They've got cute clothes with pretty butterflies!

a dumbass prep store that tries WAYY too hard to be like abercrombie, american eagle, etc. they make their clothes so unbelievably cheap that you can fricken buy 20 for $2.00. also, most of their clothing is sized wayy too big so even the fattest person would be an extra-small or a small; and the shirt would still be too big for THEM! no one i know shops there.

A wannabe store for unpopular poor people who want to shop at a name brand store but can't afford other stores. If you walk into Aeropostale you will only see:
a) Children from the ages of 6-10 who want to shop at a "teen store"

A cheap wannabe of American Eagle or Abercrombie and Fitch. Aeropostale is for the preps who cant afford the realy deal. Half there shit is always "in season" there. And its a shitty looking anyways.
