Someone who works for a living. Not as evil and horrible as a lot of people (democrats) think. Want to see equality for people earned through the meritocracy and believe everyone has the right to make as much money as they want, as well as live their lives freely without much in the way of civil rights infringement. There are many varieties of Republican, but we all have one collected vision: A world where people will actually work for a living.

Get the Republicans mug.A member of the political party responsible for the emancipation of black slaves in the early 1860's, and passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1957 granting black people the equal right to voting access. Despite this, and the fact that the Democratic party opposed both emancipation, the Civil Rights Act of 1957, and the more broad-sweeping Civil Rights Act of 1964, all Republicans are, in fact, racist. Despite a 150 year history of opposing equal rights for black people and supporting slavery, all Democrats are, in fact, not racist. An example of a racist Republican might be George W. Bush (it is well known that Bush "doesn't care about black people"), or Trent Lott, who thought that Strom Thurmond, a former Dixiecrat who opposed desegregation, would have made a good president. An example of a non-racist Democrat might be Senator Robert Byrd, a former Ku Klux Klan member, or the original racist Republican himself: Strom Thurmond, who was a Democrat until 1964.

2. A person who recognizes the diffence between a "right" and a "privelege."
3. Someone who recognizes what needs to be done for the good of America and is willing to do it. Usually this "balls to the wall" attitude is followed by a scavanger (see democrat) following next and stealing the credit, as was the case with Clinton taking the credit for economic trends that started under Bush.

If more Americans recognized the superiority of the Republican party, less people would be on welfare and our country would be run by those who merit the position.
