Standing in an elevator alone with a naked old man, impatiently waiting to get to your floor which, of course, has to be at the top floor. Suddenly seconds extend to minutes, minutes to hours.

an uncomfertable or strainge moment in a scocal situation resulting from the meating of sketch and prude. the balence between the two contrasting partys creates the awkard fealing. in any awkard situation you should be able to identify the sketch and the prude.

when the forigin extange student walkied in on the two girls changing and just stood there, it was such an awkward situation. he was the sketch for being there and not leaving, and they were the prudes because they were uncomfterable about being naked.

Awkward starfish

1) A situation where it does not hit you right away. Once it is realized, the person then angrily (or amusingly) smacks the other person in the face with their palm, hence an awkward starfish.

2) An excuse to jokingly slap the other person

Person A: Firing a rifle hurts my finger..
Person B: LOL
Person A: ............
Person A: AWKWARD STARFISH *slap*

Awkward Balloon

n. Playing off of the awkward turtle jokes, the awkward balloon is when you use your hands to blow up and tie an imaginary balloon. Then you walk backwards randomly thus creating the name "awkward balloon."

Example 1:
John: Hey Jordan, where do you want to hang out tonight?
Jordan: Let's go to the pants store.
Jimmy: Hey guys, where are you leet haxors going tonight?

Awkward Retarded Dinosaur

A hand gesture made by placing four fingers on a surface with the middle finger straight out to resemble a dinosaur similar to a brontosaurus. Used in an awkward situation to release the tension. Very similar to the Awkward Turtle. This was created by fringe characters Jade and Lukalicious during the TV show 'Psych'

When telling a joke that no one gets, one can sometimes get a laugh by using the awkward retarded dinosaur in conjunction with a "wooof"

The 'woooof' can be replaced with any farmyard animal sound that indicates the awkward dinosaur is too retarded to know what sound it should make

variations include "awkward retarded crocodile" (accompanied by a crocodile hand gesture that has jaws that do not allign when closed)

question: "Hey guys knock knock?"
response: "I fucking hate those jokes"

*crickets chirping*

passer by: "awkward retarded dinosaur...wooooof" with awkward dinosaur gesture creates laughter.

awkward salmon

A member of the Awkward Animal Clan, the awkward salmon is a movement performed during or after an awkward moment to relieve tension. One variety of the motion is to place a hand another person's chin, palm down, and wiggle the hand and fingers so as to smack the underside of the person's chin somewhat.

Grandma: Everyone's a lesbian in college, even I was.

Granddaughter: Uh...awkward salmon.
