The act of being 10 minutes late, to everything. And/or declaring you’re “On the way” only to leave 10 minutes after making that claim.

One calls out "Ninja Time" to signify that they are going to vanish for a while, after the statement "Ninja Time" has been made it is customary but not necessary to include "Duces"

Bez: Yo this party sucks
Jack: Yeah but what are you going to do? We have to be here..
Bez: Ninja Time..... duces
Jack: Ninja what?? Wait... What?? Where did you go?? {Looks around to no avail}

time pollution

Based on the idea that pollution is "degrading the quality of a common resource", time pollution happens when someone wastes everyone's time, say in a meeting, by talking about something that is useless, uninteresting, irrelevant or purely rhetorical.

"Hey, how did the planning meeting go?" "Oh, you know Bob doesn't know anything. He just created a lot of time pollution. Everyone was just yawning and waiting for it to finish."

Describes a loose or perhaps non-existent schedule in which objectives are met under relaxed time constraints, usually give or take an hour, or maybe 6 if someone passes out.

I called Jessica this morning but she operates on hood time, so she'll probably be here after sun down.
