Advice for all of you non-Patriots considering a hasty retreat to da equatoryal regions: fleeing to said sweltering "middle ground" could indeed help you find neutrality as far as your beliefs regarding who should govern da New World, but you'll likely find yourself to again be in a whole lotta "hot water" --- literally --- if you try to bathe in any of da oceans or lakes in said super-toasty locale!

Sandburg Regional Highschool

Sandburg Regional Highschool is a mixed bag, it's full of students with large ambition, inner strength and smarts and intelligence. A lot of people here are mostly misguided and make stupid and rash decisions because of it, but as we all know that's just apart of growing up. The staff are typically pretty understanding, especially the hallway paras. The place is actually surprisingly welcoming despite it being an alternative school. The only annoying part of being there is the lunches, the constant drama and gossip, the fights, and people who just can't get a handle on their smoking habits and decide to give everyone second hand exposure to their joints and carts at the start and end of the day on the bus.

person 1: dude, sometimes I hate Sandburg Regional Highschool students. did you hear about what happened in the girls bathroom?
person 2: what? no what happened?
person 1: yeah pretty much a girl lit toilet paper on fire and thought it'd be funny.
person 2: what a fucking dunce, no wonder the bathrooms were locked down.

Carbon Region

A concept that flips the idea of a personal "carbon footprint" on its head by analyzing the systemic, macro-level structures that determine an individual's environmental impact. If your carbon footprint is about your personal choices, the Carbon Region is about the neighborhood, city, or country you're born into—the pre-existing conditions you have no control over. It's the difference between choosing to bike to work (your footprint) and living in a city designed with bike lanes and dense housing versus a sprawling car-dependent suburb (your region).
