Slay

Originated from African American Venacular English AAVE (informally "ghetto language")
In the late 80s. It gained popularity due to popular social platform "Tiktok" in 2021/2.

It is used when someone does something really good or comically bad. It is often used as a feminine support word (FSW). Many claim that since the word is part of AAVE, it should be used exclusively by African American people.
FSW example:
a: Omg, slay girl! You don't need him (reffering to significant other)! You're on fire!
Normal example:
Slayyyy!
