Futurenaut

A futurenaut is someone who is given a mission by someone from the future. They have become a staple cliche in many science fictional. The term was coined by Disney's Wizards of Waverly Place in the episode "Future Harper", but has been present in many dramas and comedies long before. This term should not be confused with the person who actually travels back in time to relay such a mission.

Examples of Futurenauts include:
Ebenezer Scrooge in The Christmas Carol

Sarah Connor from The Terminator series.
Goku from the Dragonball Z series.
Bill and Ted in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.
A number of people in the Doctor Who series.

futureshop!!

A place that does not actually exist, but if it did would provide an immediate solution.

After a heavy dilema is presented, or a period of silence falls, it is appropriate to call out, "Quick! To the futureshop!!" The idea is that the solution will be within the futureshop!!

The two exclaimation points are totally required, even if it isn't the last word in the sentence.

Guy: Crap, I can't find my hat.
Guy2: Quick! To the futureshop!!

Futurama

A great Show Canceled By Fox and , sadly by Adult Swim, but is back on with a new season on Comedy Central and TBS (Best two stations ever) Featuring Fry, a Average guy from the year 1999 that was frozen for about 2000 years. Then, wakes up in the year 3000 and finds his nephew (Dr.Farnsworth) and works for his "Delivering Company". The Simpsons (Created by Matt Groaning) and Family Guy (Created By Seth MacFarlane) both GREAT shows, but have recently started to get worse, so right now I would recommend to watch Futurama on Comedy Central and TBS.

Futurama is awesome.
