monmouth regional

High school in New Jersey that mostly consist of Eatontown kids and Tinton Falls kids. The school was running itself into the ground until Cory Radisch became principal and is currently working on returning the school to its old glory. Its a very diverse high school with a very underrated classes. The sports teams are average but everyone once and a while a team has great run defeating top teams and placing high. Overall Monmouth Regional was a once respected school until multiple controversies in the last 2 decades but is no on good track to returning to its former glory.

recitation

This must be unique to NYU, because nobody I've talked to at any other school has heard of it. It's a small group of people from a larger lecture who have to meet with a grad student for a smaller class session that allows students to discuss the material covered in the lecture.

I might possibly pass my liberal art class because we discussed the lecture in my recitation.

Regatta

Usually an event held for competing crews (rowing teams) to race each other. Large events usually contain various tents of buy-able items as well as each teams tent. Regatta's are usually interesting in that the weather usually sucks, you spend 90% of the time waiting for your event only for it to get delayed due to weather and when its time to race usually bow and 6 are no where to be found, you find your self flirting with the all girls crew teams conveniently placed next to your trailer, and last but not least or the limit of these epic events is the race which is usually 1500-5000 meters of pure hell (1500-2000 meters in the spring/summer months and 5000 meters in the fall). Lady's and gentlemen this is Crew.

Girl: Hey want to hook up this weekend?!!
Boy: I got a Regatta in toga' this weekend sorry
Girl: Oh...*goes up the list on hook up list*
Boy: *thinks* damn I guess I'm stuck with these ass clowns of rowers for the weekend.

Lenape Regional High School District

A wonderful high school district that serves 8 municipalities in Burlington County, Located in southern New Jersey. The district is made up of four high schools (Lenape, Shawnee, Cherokee, and Seneca) as well as the Sequoia Alternate Program. Lenape High School located in Medford, New Jersey was the first high school that started it all. Being built in 1958 this high school serves students who live in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. The second school, Shawnee High School was built in 1971. This high school serves students that live in Medford and Medford Lakes, New Jersey. The third school, Cherokee High School, was built in 1975. This school serves students that live in Evesham Township, New Jersey. And the last one being the district's newest school, Seneca High School was built in 2003. This school serves students that live in Southampton, Shamong, Tabernacle, and Woodland Townships in New Jersey. These four high schools are what make up the Lenape Regional High School District.

Boy: Where do you go to school?
Girl: I go to Shawnee High school, part of the Lenape Regional High School District.
Boy: Oh, wow thats nice.
