When a task is made more difficult, or monotonous, with the intent of pushing the task doer to pay for, or agree to, giving up something of value to make the task easier.
I can't believe we have to do so many calculations to complete this form, it feels as though it was designed as a predatory inconvenience.

-downplay agegaps, ignore morality.
-downplay acts in the past saying “they changed”

(Disclaimer: yes pred catchers who beat the preds usually ruin the case and the pred doesn’t get in as much trouble due to the assault. That sucks, and it shouldn’t be done for that specific reason. But you should still never feel bad for the pred.)
