In WW2, Operation Torch was in the Autumn on 1942 when the Allies landed on occupied French colonies in North Africa and advancing rapidly until they met the Tunisian and Libyan holdouts of the Axis, it took them a couple of weeks to overrun the German and Italian defenses and the remaining troops failed to evacuate, leading to the surrender of the African campaign

Operation Ragnarok

Operation Ragnarok (ラグナロク作戦 Sakusen na' Ragunaroku), is a large offensive campaign taking place over the course of Mega Man Zero 4, ordered by Dr. Weil in order to maintain his tyrannic rule and is perhaps the scientist's most heinous scheme yet. The eight main bosses are used as a cover-up for the real threat: a space station under the name of Ragnarok. The final goal of Operation Ragnarok is to destroy Area Zero, the crash site of the space colony Eurasia in Mega Man X5.
