Central Jersey

A place that simply does not exist. People who believe this mythical land use others opinion to argue if it is real or not. Apparently, if enough people believe something exists, it means its real.

South Jersey

The southern portion of New Jersey. The definition depends upon where in New Jersey you are from. Newark and Jersey City residents would define South Jersey as anything south of Woodbridge. West of there it would be south of Trenton. Philadelphia area residents define South Jersey as Burlington south. Atlantic City and Cape May residents define South Jersey as south of Tuckerton.

Oh, you're from South Jersey.

The act of making a left turn at a traffic light as soon as it turns green. It is accepted practice in New Jersey to allow the first car at an intersection to make a left turn before opposing traffic proceeds.

New Jersey Shuffle

When you’re taking a nasty shit and have to throw up at the same time, the ensuing scramble around the toilet is referred to as the “New Jersey Shuffle”. The act requires one to dismount the toilet without flushing to throw up while looking at one's own shit. The name comes from the fact that this act is almost as nasty as the state of New Jersey.
