What was once the ass-faced airplane food joke of the 2000s to everyone but the 200 or so EV hippie die-hards, is now a boring commodity as much as it's a disruptive industry with a rate of advancement rivaling that of smartphones.

Simply cars that run on electricity stored in batteries, that give the driver the advantage of less fuel costs, less maintenance and choice of fuel source. And in regards to Tesla, they're also now have almost unbeatable performance.

Dude 1: Hmm... Hoh yeah, there's that Tesla or electric car my geek of a friend goes crazy about.

Dude 2: Oh-ok... whatever.
