A snitch is someone who looks for reasons to report other people to an authority.

if someone breaks your ipod and you report them, you aren't a snitch. if you tell on someone for something as little as texting in class, you are a snitch

A more modern version of "Snitches get Stitches" indicating that people who snitch or tell on others to authorities will get no "bitches" as in a female partner, and be single for all eternity.

Snitch: "I saw Jeremiah do it. he murdered the pope"
