The former currency was Tix that was used in the same way, but it was removed because

The filter is so bad that you can't even say numbers.
The moderation is so bad that it was a forum post (forums
don't exist anymore) that linked to C.P. and it was a
popular ban of a youtuber called Flamingo for saying 'yes'.
