Originally a bouldering term used to describe when one climber offers unsolicited climbing advice to another unasked.

Use evolved with the emergence of the “alpha male”. In this context, beta spray is the white curd-like spit that congeals at the corner of their mouths and gets literally or figuratively shot from their mouths when they start talking about betas or simping, etc, etc

Andrew Tate has chilled a bit on beta spraying since he was arrested for human trafficking and being a pedo.
