A Semi-Simp is a person who admires a friend over another friend or family member. Not for them to get into a relationship with them, but rather for friendship purposes, even if the friend is a weirdo or not worth the trouble. Some will shame others for doing something, but won't do so for the friend they are semi-simping for.
