A person who looks down upon users of emoticons in their electronic communications. Emoticists are generally learned people with a penchant for proper expression, grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

While texting with Whitney, Jason typed: " U have a great weekend 2 :) "

Upon reading the smiley face Whitney, the emoticist that she was, texted back with great derision, "L8er" and decided to cease future discussions with that loser.

Emotional

To evoke an extreme 'emotion'.
Tends to lean towards positive emotions but can refer to negative emotions as well. In slang terms however it only refers to abstract objects or experiences that the common use of emotional would never be used to define.

Reached it's peak in London vernacular around 2015.

'That jacket is emotional' - Correct
'That sandwich was emotional' - Correct

Something only women are capable of, and evil enough to do. They fool poor insecure men into thinking they are recieving affection when they never will. They are often used as pillows for tears, or little "I lost my boyfriend and I'm grieving him" dolls. If this happends to you, just tell them to fk off.
