A perkin is a modern person, likely born in 1987 or later, who campaigns against or complains about most founding principles and mechanisms supporting Western society. A perkin is the exact opposite of a hard working blue collar worker employed in a traditional industry such as a power plant or construction. A perkin might commonly work in jobs that most people born before 1987 don't even know exist.
