pulling a trofey

The act of disappearing when you know you can't win. Pulling a trofey can be seen both as unsportsmanlike behavior but it can also be seen as a way to conserve precious time. For some, it's a way of life.

1) ...so Marko and me met these 2 student chicks in the bar last night.. The beautiful blonde clicked with me right away, but the chubby one went for Marko. 20 minutes in to it, the guy couldn't handle it so he pulled a trofey. Had to buy Becky cheeseburgers all night to avoid the cockblock.

2) I've paid my son 5 months of private tutoring for the graduate exam, i was so sure he was ready for medschool. You know what happened at the exam? Little bastard didn't last 10 minutes without pulling a trofey!

3) A: Wow Jenny, long time no see.. Last time you were telling me Brendan proposed on you?

J: That asshole pulled a trofey on me...
A: Omg, that is horrible, what happened?
