Friend 1: "You know that girl I've been talking to? I asked her out and she said she was really into me too, but her parents won't let her date anyone until she's 16."
Friend 2: "You've been parent zoned man.. that sucks."

short zone

The area adjacent to the friend zone where a guy has no chance because he is shorter than she is. This is worse than being in the friend zone because, unless you can still grow, you have no hope of moving out of the short zone. Guys in the short zone must resort to the nice guy role, the acquaintance role, or just set up their tall friends. Good luck to all of you in the short zone we feel for you.

Me: “Hey, who was that? Did you get things going with her?”
Friend: “No, she’s 6 feet. She short zoned me before I walked up.”

Roleplaying Zone

Also known as The RP Zone, it is a phenomenon where players become so interested in the roleplay they are in, they become unconscious (unaware of their surroundings) in the real world. Even trying to talk to a RP Zoner would not bring them back to life, not until the roleplay is over.

Player 1) How long was I in the Roleplaying Zone?

Player 2) 6 hours.
