last-minute paging-cancel

Refers to the insanely-frustrating act of asking an employee over the PA system to come and assist with something, only to then say, "never mind" a long while afterwards, when said frazzled employee has hastily "dropped everything" and speed-walked almost all the way up to the area where he was asked to present himself.

The last-minute paging-cancel is especially infuriating/draining if the responding employee has had to go through a lot of difficult preparation before heading to his requested locale, such as cleansing his extremely-soiled hands, changing into cleaner/neater attire, setting down a huge armload of items, powering off a complicated piece of equipment, etc.

Body building is pageantry

Is useless in the real world..why? Well you puff yourself up like pigeon looking to mate but can’t perform in the real world with those “muscles”..

Example; on arm or chest day w’e, you bench 350-400 Lbs. In essence you build yourself up like “Hercules” portrayed in various modern movies but you can't preform like him.. you’re not lift boulders or slaying a treacherous hydra or defeating a massive lion..

Your like SpongeBob with his inflatable arms lol.. The body of a Ferrari sports car but no engine, Frame, wheels etc..

Ah the gym is filled with “bodybuilders” hogging the machines.. it’s useless to get that puffed, no fluidity in their movements lol it’s aesthetic.. “body building is pageantry” . Pure theatrics
