You think you really know this person (and you probably do) but then all that happens and it hurts.

When someone gets cancelled on mostly false pretenses and it ends up traumatizing them so horribly they have still not recovered. This is an example of the extent some cancel culture has gone to, and how a 15 year old can be convinced they are worse than most serial killers.

Note: refers to the after affects of cancellation, and how messed up it can leave someone.
