1.Pretending to be texting; therefore onlookers will think you are busy rather that pathetically sitting there bored and lonely.

text stutter

When you repeat the same letter in a word numerous times even when it's not spelled that way. Unlike actual stuttering this usualy occurs at the end of a word but in many cases there are exceptions. Often used when texting :)

person 1: heyyyyyyyyyyy whatss uppp?
person 2: dude you really have a text stutter
person 1: nnnnnnnnoooooooooo :P

Text back tempo

the rate at which you get reply text messages from a friend/guy.

a high TBT would indicate interest or a good friend

a low TBT means they're not really interested or have more intersting things to do than text back to you.

Similar to makeup sex, just more technologically savvy and less gratifying.

Kurt and I got in a pretty bad fight today because I got mad that he always texts instead of calling me. Everything is fine between us now though. We had some amazing makeup text afterward!
