A state of X (adult life for example) where no serious effort is urgent, or even needed anymore.

College kids talk about how they want a degree so they can shake things up and change the world, but like most people, deep down they just work towards a life at cruising altitude, and then that idealism fades just like yours or mine.

Once I've paid off my loans and can live life at a cruising altitude, I will at least consider having a child

Tiny Tom likes to visit gay bathhouses and enjoys going shopping for high heels with fellow midget and Napoleon complex deluxe sufferer David Miscavige.

The type of man to spend hard earned vacation money on a carnival cruise. Usually aged in their mid thirties, born in the American South, and fond of margaritas. Cruise guys are often times racist and competitive amongst their inner circle, but timid around strangers.
