The disorienting physical and psychological effects caused by rapid, large changes in temperatures - especially when going from warm weather freezing temperatures. The condition be experienced by an individual during air travel between locations or at the same location during major weather fronts. Those with allergies, back, joint, or other musculoskeletal disorders may experience aggravated symptoms.
Austin went from 88 degrees on Tuesday to 32 degrees on Wednesday, resulting in many people in the area suffering from weather whiplash as their bodies try to adjust.
