Safe

The word is used in a variety of contexts mainly when it is referring to someone you think of as a friend, as a greeting and as a way of saying thank you. The word is derived from the idea of literally being 'safe' when you are with a person, the idea that you will come to no harm.

He is safe, do not hit him.
Safe for letting me borrow your pencil.
Safe, I will speak to you tomorow.

Scafe

Verb: To steal, or to take without asking permission.

Noun: A person who steals or takes things without permission.

Verb: "I think Josh scafed my i-ipod.."

" I scafed a copy of the test with the answers.."

Noun: "Josh, you're a scafe, give me back my i-pod!"

An overly cautious person or someone particularly concerned about the rules of safety.

I don't want to be a safety hedgehog but shouldn't we make sure the power is off before touching those wires?

A position designated with unlocking a complex safe for a bank robbery.

"Adam can do the driving, Barry'll be on crowd control while I look out. I still need a safe man that can get us inside in ninety seconds flat."

Safety First

A reminder to engage in safe sex. Usually used when the people in question aren't actually planning on having sex, but the speaker is implying that they will be having sex.

Person A is leaving the party with person B, a platonic friend.

Person C: Safety first!
