On February 19th, 2012, a post on tumblr introduced the airport game. Hiding your location, the game begins with randomizing your location, then finding an airport to "get back home". Led to the majority of tumblr wandering far corners of the Earth for hours, following random trucks. Screenshots were abound on tumblr of random locations combined with the player's declaration of misery. Occasionally someone managed to find the airport. Such people were revered as gods.

Get the mappa tassie mug.Some stupid 2-D sidescrolling game. It's addictive without offering any satisfacting features. It's buggy (over years), ruled by narutofans (kiddies) and hosted by Nexon. Do I need to say more?
This game is like a big slum in terms of the community. You will find hacker, scammer and bots in the first big city. GMs and Support do not exist, or just at Nexons webpage - to fake security and gain new player. The community itself can be split into 4 groups and 2 categories: The young and the old, and the "n00bs" and the "high levels". There is nothing else. If you are not in a guild you're lost, because you will get KSed. There is no friendship there, anyone is struggling for some stupid ranks up. Because it is more important to get some ranks up among 1,000,000+ player.
There are lots of better games out there, but as long as there are dumb people out there playing this game, MapleStory will be the 'best'.
The so called "high levler" does not have to do anything, so they start to KS, (Kill Steal) in the earlier areas. If you wanna start a new Chara in MS, do not even think about it. Those 5 days untill the deinstallation of this crappy game can be spent on better free games.

Get the Maple Story mug.Steaming pile of shit. Highly addictive. More so than heroine. It's literally torture. Unfortunately, all the "players" they talk of in their ad's are just depressed children (and some creepy ass adults) who can't get off the drug...
Depressed Kid- "Dad, go to the store and buy me some Nexon cash!"
Dad- "Well son, I've already spend 500 dollars on Nexon cash for you this month. Can't you go without it for a little while?
Depressed Kid- "Dad shut the fuck up or I'll beat your ass again! Now go to the store!"
Dad- "Son, it's just that...well...you seem to have been acting differently since you've been playing that game. You're locked in your room all day. You don't even use the bathroom anymore, you just have a bucket which you empty out the window onto our neighbors car. The family misses you at the dinner table...please...I want my son back....what have you done Maplestory?!?!"
