3 rings of marriage

Slang. The engagement ring the marriage ring n the suffering. The first part is the engagement ring. Only the beginning. Nothing bad. Yet. The second part is the marriage ring. It’s getting worse. The last part is the worst. The suffering. Most people don’t like being married but try to tolerate it. If you really love your partner then go for it! On the flip side, if you don’t like your marriage then don’t stick around and suffer!
What are the 3 rings of marriage? The engagement ring the marriage ring n the suffering. It starts out by getting engaged to be married. Then after engagement comes the married life. After the married life comes the suffering. Most people who don’t like being married get divorced. If they love their partner they stick around. Words of wisdom: if you don’t like the married life then don’t get married!

lord of the rings

Lord of the Rings is a masterpiece. It was originally intended to be all one book, but it was divided into three books, and each separate book is divided into two books (confused yet?). The story actually begins in "The Hobbit," where Bilbo Baggins discovers the One Ring in Gollum's lair (which, at the time, was in a cavern within the Misty Mountains). Then in "The Fellowship of the Ring," Bilbo grants the ring to his nephew, Frodo, and then departs to start a new and relaxed life (but they soon meet up in Rivendell). Gandalf teaches Frodo that the One Ring was forged in the fires of Mount Doom for the Dark Lord, Sauron. Three rings were given to the Elves, seven to the dwarves, and nine to the men, but it was the One Ring that could mean peril to all that is good in Middle Earth if it was brought back into the hands of the Dark Lord. Frodo had to return it to the one place it could be destroyed, Mount Doom, in the heart of Mordor. Frodo originally sets off with Pippin, Sam, and Merry. They find themselves in Rivendell, where the council of Elrond takes part. Elrond adds Boromir, Aragorn, Legolas, Gandalf, and Gimli to Frodo's party, and they become the Fellowship. To read of their perilous adventures through Middle Earth is to take an adventure through the ancient trees of Lorien, to journey through the dank darkness of Moria, and to wade in the waters of the sacred Nimrodel. If you're into fantasy, then Lord of the Rings is for you.
One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them, one ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them...

The Legend of the Five Rings

Also called L5R for short, it is a collectible card game created by Alderac set in a fictional empire called Rokugan, which mimics feudal Asia. The emperor's subjects include the members of 7 great clans and several smaller clans each named after an animal. The adversary of the empire is known as the Shadowlands Horde, a loose alliance among the demons, undead, goblins, and other creatures that dwell in a region of the empire called the Shadowlands. The game follows a philosophy roughly based on Musashi's Book of Five Rings; the world of Rokugan is balanced by five elements or rings: Fire, Water, Earth, Air, and Void. Each ring represents a quality one must recieve to be enlightened.

The "blocks" in L5R are separated by the ruler of the empire; during this block, you may only use cards that are produced within this block. In another mode of play, you may use any card made during any block.

The player selects a faction to play as, which may be one of the clans, the Shadowlands Horde, and several other alliances (Brotherhood, ninja, Naga, etc.). Each faction has their own styles of playing, which bring a deep variety into the game. The game is won when a single winning or losing condition is met. The winning conditions are starting a turn with 40 or more family honor points (honor victory) or having all five elemental rings in play (enlightment victory). The losing conditions are losing all four provinces (military victory) or falling below -20 honor points (dishonor victory).

L5R is the fastest growing card game in the world. L5R is not a complex game to learn; what makes it challenging is the depth of the game. There are no sideboards in L5R like there are in other CCG's, so thus deckbuilding is alos a greater challenge than in other games. A player must have deep knowledge of all possible strategies in the game when forming a good deck.

NOTE: Most L5R players have a deep animosity towards the game's major comptetitor, Magic the Gathering. It irks players when spectators ask "Is that like Magic?"
"Are you playing Magic?"
