Rational Human: Trump is against Islam and is a war-monger.
NPC: nuh-uh. Fox News told me that it isn't true.
Rational Human: He literally said that all Muslims are terrorists and that we need to carpet bomb middle eastern countries.

Non-Player Characters are bots in games that either have a quest,instructions,or help. or just walk around. Example of a game: get a snack at 4 am, has cashier, npc, father figure, dummy, orby, kyu/cube

Oblivion NPC

Braindead and acts like a robot in actual human interaction

both of these traits are shared with an NPC (non-player character) from the video game "Oblivion" hence the name.
The NPCs in this game are infamous for having the dumbest conversations and acting extremely robotic, snapping towards you if you engage with them.
These people will act just like in the game and are generally very stupid.

Paul: hello friend, would you enjoy a cup of coffee and a sandwich at the cafe for lunch, it would very much please me.
Friend: you are such an Oblivion NPC
