The result is the same dozy shite placing repeated bets with the same person over again in a double or nothing fashion just to lose again. doing this has coined the phrase "Mulligan" over the years, originating as "Mullen-again!!" and evolving into the more modern, and easier to pronounce "mulligan"
It is rumoured to have come from a compulsive gambler, and avid golfer from the south of Ireland named Mullen, as the mulligan is a common term in golf
