Landscape Architect

A made-up profession so architects can charge you for extra money in a building project.

The origin of this word begins in the 19th century, invented by the American architect Frederick L. Gardener, who believes he could earn extra money when commissioned to design Central Park in New York, who then proposed to hire a team of "landscape architects" on top of the existing architect team.

Developer: We need a garden for this estate.
Architect: Nah that's the job of a landscape architect.
Developer: What's the difference?
Architect: 2 million more dollars.
