Most commonly used in digital parties such as Discord, Xbox, PS4. Selective input occurs when a person chooses only to speak when they feel comfortable, usually within a Safe Space. It is used by cowards, and people who cannot generate a unique comeback. A user of selective input is most often also a lurker.

Input* meaning the mouth, and output* meaning the anal cavity. A term/phrase relating to oral or anal sex, respectively.
