Mountain Googles

Mountain googles are a mountaineering's equivalent of beer googles: After spending considerable amount of time on an expedition with a predominantly male group of fellow mountaineers, one's standard on female beauty becomes lowered. Like beer googles, the decrease in standard is proportional to the days spent away from civilization.

After 2 weeks in Nepal, he hooked up with the first girl that smiled at him. She was toothless. He had a serious case of mountain googles.

Googlism

The excessive use of Google's services to the point of addiction-like behavior and/or the firm clinging the rhetoric, "If it isn't Google, it isn't anything."
(This phrase is used by people who scoff at the sight of someone using another Search Engine, or when they see that their friend has a Yahoo or Outlook E-Mail address)

Can usually be solved with De-Googlification

Eric: You fucker! You're using Bing! "If it isn't Google, it isn't anything."

Angie: Well, I can see that the Googlism has completely taken over.

googlersona

Your personality or persona as defined by the sites that come up when someone googles your name. Depending on the sites you've contributed to on the web, your googlersona isn't necessarily a true reflection of you. It could be embarrassing or highly defamatory.

I googlestalked that guy I met on Friday night and he has a dodgy googlersona. I think he may have been a pornstar while he was at university. Plus, it seems he's got some crazy crush on Martha Stewart.

Googlegasm

When you start Googling a topic which leads you to something totally unrelated that's really exciting, unexpected, and magical, which gets you so intrigued and psyched that you order something having to do with it on Amazon or iTunes.

This afternoon I had a Googlegasm while I was trawling the internet for lamps and ordered Chekhov's short stories on Amazon when I discovered what a hunk Chekhov was.
