that person who tries to portray that they are far more interesting/intelligent/amazing etc than they really are. Originates from the larger,more interestingly shaped peanuts you often find in mixed-nut packs which when eaten - taste exactly like regular peanuts!!! ahhhh!

that guy I met last night seamed pretty interesting at first, but turned out only to be a flashy peanut...
