The Tubgirl from Documenting Reality is a disgustingly disturbing set of images depicting the discovery and removal of a bloated and decomposed corpse of an asian woman who had slit her wrists and fell into the bathtub where she would be left to decompose and become a ‘maggot mall’ from her badly decayed cadaver. This infamous set of images can still be accessed and is viewed as a staple on the gore site called Documenting Reality, due to the amount of people it has traumatized.

In the 2000s, some people, but not most people, just some people, had a daily habit of checking social media to find out what’s going on in their lives. Maybe less people do it now than used to. But I still try to document stuff on main, so it’s helpful if you can check there first, because the stuff I am documenting is so horrific that it takes most of my energy away.
