These sub-branches are key parts of Winter Night's lore and follow the story from before 1991 to the start of 2000, these being Crumbling Dreams, the implied start of the Winter Night in this alternate history branch, and Heat Death, the completely altered world down to just 80+ nations by the start of 2000. The world might be doomed to being left under the jackboot of the Soviet collapse domino effect.. Unless they manage to reunify
