cubism

1.Cubism is a description or label for a period or process of art style pioneered by Pablo Picasso. Picasso broke his images into pieces and changed subjects colors either by choosing hues across the color wheel or those which suited some other artistic purpose necessary to complete his theme. His broken mirror pieces probably were devices which allowed him to put other dimensions (time and space) of each subject matter onto the same canvas in whatever rearrangement suited his whims and compositions needs. In this manner, Pablos renderings actually escaped the limited dimensions of the canvas for all time.

2. The state of being a Cubano or Cubana refugee who has been torn from the old homeland and forced to accept the foibles and exhilerations of the new one.

1. Pablo Picasso broke his subjects into pieces and painted those shards with alternate hues in order to escape the usual dimensions of the painted canvas and formulate the school of cubism.

2. Dulce Maria was an American girl to the max and also had many tell-tale indicators of cubism.

Obsessive Kid Cudism Disorder

Can be shortened to OKCD. Commonly found in teenagers that engage in illegal activities (such as smoking marijuana). Symptoms include feeling the need to skip school to go to cudi concerts, periodically posting cudi lyrics as your Facebook status, experiencing elation and relaxation only while listening to cudi songs, and bonding with other people simply on the basis of a mutual love for the same artist.

My friend Stan exhibits all the symptoms of Obsessive Kid Cudism Disorder and I'm worried that he may have to seek professional psychiatric help very soon.

a major league baseball team who plays their home games at Wrigley Field on the north side of Chicago, Illinois. A few notable facts about the Cubs:
- One of the original National League teams
- Mostly known for their long World Series drought (101+ years)
- The first team to appear in back-to-back World Series (1906-1908)
- The first team to win back to back World Series (1907-1908)
- Biggest rivals are the Chicago White Sox and St. Louis Cardinals
- Have played in the same ballpark since 1916, longer than all teams except the Boston Red Sox
- 1st team to win 10 000 games playing in a single city (2nd team to win 10 000 games overall, after the New York/San Francisco Giants)

- Loyalty: Cubs

- Sheer numbers: Cubs
- Consistent winners: Sox (i don't know if it's good or bad)

Overall: The Cubs have the better fan community aside from all of the bandwagon jumpers. That is not to say that Sox fans are not true baseball fans (aside from the whole DH thing, but that's another story).

cubite

A being that resides in a cubicle for more than forty (40) hours per week, often isolated from other persons with the exception of an occasional coffee or restroom break. Feeding, napping and general wasting of time are the common activities of the cubite. Skin is typically pale as they don't tend to see the light of day and for some reason they have the common behavior of putting mirrors about them, possibly to detect when another cubite has invaded their territory. Activity of the cubite depends on the day of the week, often with Monday being the day of the lowest activity and a gradual increase with a peak on Friday.

Michael won't leave his cubicle for lunch; he's such a cubite.
