2)A mean, ugly, old woman.

1) One who came from the district of Buchanan, a location near Loch Lomond in Scotland. From the Gaelic elements buth, meaning "house" and chanain, meaning "of the canon." 2) An anglicization of the German buchenhain, meaning "beech wood."

Bushonics

A neologistic vernacular form of American English as it is spoken from the present President of the United States. This can possibly be attributed to a history of rampant and unchecked alcohol and substance abused (marijuana, cocaine) or being dropped on his head at a young age. If American english was spoken in patois this would be it.

Buchanan Goodbye

Skipping out on a meal in an unannounced fashion prior to the completion of the meal, for the purpose of avoiding paying the check. A cheapskate variation of the Irish Goodbye.

One of the guys we were out with pulled a Buchanan Goodbye by climbing out the bathroom window just before dessert, the cheap bastard.
