Joe: "Hey Bob, Can you send me that report by the end of the day?"
Bob: "Sure thing, Joe. I'll have it to you ASAP."
Joe: "Great, I need it to present it to the board tomorrow morning."
Bob: "No problem, I'll make sure it's done as soon as possible."
Joe: "Thanks Bob, really appreciate it."
Bob: "Not a problem, happy to help out. You'll have it ASAP"

ASAP - An acronym that stands for "As Slow As Possible"
ASAP is used when someone wants a task done deliberately and carefully (hence SLOW as possible), giving them more time to handle other priorities first. This allows them to appear more in control of their workload and avoid seeming overwhelmed to their boss, subordinates, friends, etc . By stretching out the timing, they can address your finished task when things are quieter, making everything look more manageable, making you both look good.
